S.A.C.K. Office, 2016, a temporary space for office activities and special events
S.A.C.K. was graciously given a temporary office space from January 27-March 19. In addition to special events* (see listings below), open hours were Monday and Tuesday 11am-5pm and by appointment.

Saturday, Jan 30, 6-9pm: Recent Acquisitions
A reception at the office to celebrate recent acquisitions of work by artists Hilary Baldwin and Faheem Majeed.
Feb 1 & 2: Our Annual Pilgrimage to Woodstock, IL.
As Phil Connors before us, we departed Chicago the afternoon of the 1st, stayed at a B&B nearby (MPSTN), then took the "van" to see the groundhog at first light.
Feb 3, 7pm: The Day After Groundhog Day Might Still Be Groundhog Day
Back in the office we gave a report on the day before in the form of a video and informal conversation. S.A.C.K. Drink #2 (a juice blend of strawberries, apples, cherries, and kiwi) was served.
Feb 7, 1:30-3pm: Dialogue With The Youth
Same as every month, we talked to Theo. Conversation revolved primarily around dinosaurs and the Superbowl.
Feb 17, 11am-1pm: What Could be Inside?: Reimagining Canned Food
An all-ages workshop hosted by Treetop School.
Feb 21, noon-4pm: The Building Open House
Jukebox plays for $5 (or $515) helped us raise money to support more artists with kids or children. Manna was provided.
Feb 29, Noon-12:30pm: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood episode 1616^
Mar 1, Noon-12:30pm: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood episode 1617^
Mar 2, Noon-12:30pm: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood episode 1618^
Mar 3, Noon-12:30pm: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood episode 1619^

^ Music by King Friday XIII and a improvised game inspired by the episode just watched followed each episode airing.
Mar 6, 1:30-3pm: Dialogue With The Youth
Just like the previous month but with Timothy McMullen hosting. Cheetahs and boosted skateboards and cheetahs on boosted skateboards were notable topics.
* Food accompanied most events.

About S.A.C.K.
S.A.C.K. (Supporting Artists with Children and/or Kids) is a naught-for-profit founded in 2013 to serve artist parents. Principal support is provided through the purchase of works of art from artists and the supply of fruit to them and their families. Through the newly formed S.A.C.K. ED, publications and other educational aims will be developing in 2016.
S.A.C.K operates as the philanthropic arm of and receives operational support from the Globe Al Chemical Company.
